How Minthium works: launching and trading coins on Robinhood Chain, the launch records on Monero, the fees, and the $MINT token.
Overview
Minthium is a launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Approved creators can launch a coin, and every coin trades on its own bonding curve from its first block.

How it is built
- The launchpad contract on Robinhood Chain creates every coin, holds the ETH on each coin's curve and runs every buy and sell.
- A data service reads the chain for the lists, prices, history and record status you see. Trades always use live prices from the contract.
Getting started
Connect a wallet
Any browser wallet that announces itself to the page works, and Minthium shows its own name and icon. With one wallet installed, Connect wallet connects to it at once; with several, you choose one. Without a wallet, Connect wallet points you to a list of wallets to choose from. On a phone, open this page in the browser built into your wallet app.
Use Robinhood Chain
Minthium runs on Robinhood Chain, chain id 4663. If your wallet is on another network, the app offers Switch to Robinhood Chain, and asks your wallet to add the network first when it does not know it yet.
Hold some ETH on Robinhood Chain
Buys, launches and every network fee are paid in ETH on Robinhood Chain.
Minthium never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Every transaction is one you confirm in your own wallet.
Launch a coin
Approved creators on the allowlist can launch a coin. Launching happens on the Launch page.
Name and ticker
A name of up to 32 characters and a ticker of up to 10, in letters, numbers, spaces and basic punctuation.
Project links
The project's website and its account on X are required, and Telegram is optional. They are stored with the coin on Robinhood Chain and shown on its page.
An image, if you want one
A PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF. Minthium crops it to a square, stores it and names it by its fingerprint, a hash of the stored file, which goes into the coin's links. Anyone can check that the image on the page is the one the coin launched with. Without an image, the stall art is drawn from the coin's address.
A first buy, if you want one
You can buy your own coin in the same transaction, up to reading with the trade fee taken out of it, under its own slippage limit from 0.1 to 10 percent. The form warns when a first buy would move the price by more than 5 or 10 percent.
Review and confirm
Review launch shows the name, ticker, links, image, creation fee (reading), first buy and the total from your wallet. It then checks with the contract that creation is open, your wallet can launch, a coin slot is free and the first buy is allowed. Nothing is sent until you confirm in your wallet.
Your stall is open
The coin is created with 1,000,000,000 tokens, 6 decimals, and trading opens in the same block. You get a link to its page and to the launch transaction on the explorer.
Buy and sell
Every coin page has a trade panel with Buy and Sell. Its prices come straight from the contract, so trading keeps working when the data service is behind.
Buying
Enter the ETH you pay, or pick 0.05, 0.1, 0.25 or 0.5 ETH. The estimate shows the fee, about how much you receive, the minimum you receive and the price impact. Near the raise cap the panel shows the most you can pay right now, fee included.
Selling
Enter an amount, or pick 25%, 50%, 75% or All of what you hold. When a sale needs an approval, your wallet approves exactly the amount you sell, never more, and the sale follows as a second step.
Slippage and the minimum received
Your slippage limit, 1 percent unless you change it, from 0.1 to 10, sets the minimum you receive. If the price moves past it, the trade does not go through. If the figures get worse between your review and your confirmation, the panel asks you to review them again. Price impact above 5 percent, and again above 10, comes with a warning.
The review sheet
Every trade goes through four steps: Check, Wallet, Block and Done. Before your wallet opens, the contract is asked again whether buys are open, the amount fits before the cap and the price is within your limit, or for a sale, whether you hold enough and the approval covers it. A reviewed trade is valid for 20 minutes.
The smallest trade is 0.000001 ETH.
Prices and the raise cap
Every coin starts with 1,000,000,000 tokens on its own bonding curve. Each buy raises the price and each sell lowers it, by a formula fixed in the contract.
A coin's curve can hold up to reading: its raise cap. When it is full, buys are closed until someone sells. Selling stays open, and a sale that makes room opens buys again.
Reading a stall sign
Every coin page carries a stall sign ringed by bulbs. Each bulb is 0.1 ETH of the raise cap, and the lit bulbs show how much ETH the coin's curve holds. A buy lights bulbs and a sell switches them off. When every bulb is lit the coin is at its cap.
Fees
Two fees, both paid in ETH, are the platform's revenue.
- Trade fee, reading. Charged on every buy and every sell. On a buy it comes out of the ETH you pay; on a sell it comes out of the ETH you receive. It was set once when the launchpad was deployed and can never change.
- Creation fee, reading. Paid once for every new coin.
Both fees collect in the launchpad and are paid out to the treasury, and only to the treasury. The treasury's address is in Figures and addresses. What the revenue is used for is in Tokenomics.
Every transaction also pays a small network fee to Robinhood Chain, in ETH, through your wallet.
Tokenomics
$MINT
Minthium
- Total supply
- 1,000,000,000
Platform revenue
$MINT is Minthium's own token, with a total supply of 1,000,000,000. 90% of the platform's revenue is used to buy back $MINT and burn it. The other 10% funds the development of Minthium.
Buyback
90% of platform revenue buys $MINT on the open market.
Burn
The $MINT bought back is burned. Burned tokens can never be moved again, so they leave the supply for good.
Development
The other 10% of platform revenue pays for the development of Minthium.
Roles and safety
- Nobody can move the ETH on a coin's curve. It leaves the launchpad only to a seller, for their own sale, or to the treasury, as fees.
- No role can pause selling.
- Fixed for good at deployment: the trade fee, the curve, the raise cap and the largest first buy. The launchpad has no upgrade path.
The owner can
- change the treasury and the guardian
- set the creation fee, at most 0.05 ETH
- set the coin limit
- turn the creator allowlist on or off and choose its creators
- pause creation and buys, and reopen them
- hide a coin's image, or show it again
Ownership moves in two steps and cannot be given up.
The guardian can
- pause creation
- pause buys on every coin
- hide a coin's image, or show it again
Only the owner reopens what the guardian pauses. While buys are paused, selling stays open.
Risks
- A bug in the contracts. Funds in the launchpad could be lost or locked. No role can pause selling by design, but a bug could still stop it.
- The data service lags. Lists, history and totals can be late. Trades use live contract prices and keep working.
- The allowlist changes. The owner can add or remove creators. This never affects trading.
- Buys are paused. The guardian or the owner can pause buys on every coin, for example while a problem is looked into. Only the owner reopens them. Selling stays open the whole time.
- The coin limit changes. The owner can raise or lower the number of coins that can be created. This never affects trading, and a higher limit means more ETH can sit in the curves.
Figures and addresses
Figures marked from the contract are read from the launchpad now. Others come from the data service.

Questions
Can I always sell?
Yes. No role can pause selling, and the trade panel reads prices straight from the contract. Only a bug in the contracts could stop it, as Risks says.
What happens when a coin reaches its raise cap?
Buys close until someone sells. Selling stays open, and a sale that makes room opens buys again.
Which wallets work?
Any browser wallet that announces itself to the page. Minthium never asks for your seed phrase or private key.
Where do the links on a coin page come from?
The creator adds them at launch, and they are stored with the coin on Robinhood Chain. Minthium checks that each one is a well formed website, X handle or Telegram link.
Can a coin image be taken down?
Yes. The owner or the guardian can hide a coin's image, and the page then shows the stall art drawn from the coin's address. The coin and its trading are not affected.
What is $MINT?
Minthium's own token, with a total supply of 1,000,000,000. 90% of platform revenue is used to buy it back and burn it, and 10% funds development.
